Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

1. Introduction

PlumeTube (“PlumeTube,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) creates personalised animated stories for children. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from you and your child, how we use it, and the choices you have. By joining our waitlist or using our service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

From parents and guardians: first and last name, email address, and phone number when you join our waitlist.

About your child: details you choose to share so we can create their show, such as their name, age, interests, photos, and information about the people, pets, or places you’d like included in their stories.

Voice recordings: if you use voice cloning, we collect a recording of your voice so episodes can be narrated in it.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and deliver personalised episodes featuring your child.
  • To generate your child’s animated likeness and, where enabled, narration in a cloned parent voice.
  • To notify you when your waitlist spot is ready and when new episodes are available.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To improve and secure our service.

4. Children's Privacy

PlumeTube is intended for use by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and all information about a child (including photos and interests) is submitted by a parent or guardian who confirms they have the authority to do so.

We handle information about children in line with applicable children’s privacy laws, including the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents can review, update, or request deletion of their child’s information at any time by contacting us at hello@plumetube.com.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information or your child’s information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate PlumeTube (such as hosting, storage, and email delivery), under confidentiality obligations.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law.
  • A successor entity, if PlumeTube is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale — with notice to you.

6. Data Security

Photos, voice recordings, and other personal information are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to systems and personnel who need it to operate the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your family’s information using industry-standard safeguards.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your and your child’s information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@plumetube.com. We will delete your data within a reasonable time, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@plumetube.com.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to operate our website and, where you’ve consented, analytics cookies to understand how our site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or through the service before the changes take effect.
